Short film winner of the MPPIA Short Film Award at Whistler Film Festival, 2023. Easybake is a coming-of-age body-horror about an insecure teen who consume a sculpture, wakes up made of clay, and obsessively pursues the “perfect body”.

I got to be so so creative with the design for the short and it was incredibly fulfilling. Kami’s bedroom was ridiculously fun to design. Filled with pastel colours and fluffy textures, the room was sugary, to the point of toothache. Vibrant and dreamy, Kami’s bedroom is her safe space, so it needed to feel hella cosy. With the film revolved around baking, I created a running theme of yolks, cows and flowers (eggs, milk and flowers) dressed into the room. And the best thing was that Jason Pillay (amazing Costume Designer) incorporated that theme into the wardrobe. The overall design of the film merged the 70’s patterns with 00’s glitters.
